It's a great afternoon in CapeSide and The Carfora residence is really moving along...interior painting was completed this week, with final plumbing and electrical to begin this week. Decking and steps to pool to be completed within the next couple days as well.

A beautiful late spring morning in CapeSide...our custom home for Neil and Regina Carfora is really moving along. This home is on an absolutely beautiful lot in CapeSide, backing up to a heavily wooded area with a multitude of live oaks, all readily in view from the rear deck and 3 season room constructed by Windowz Inc. We also employed the use of 8' Neuma gliding patio doors in strategic areas between the family room and rear deck, and off the breakfast area to the 3 season room.

This home will offer 3 bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, open dining/kitchen/family area, 3 season room with deck and a large bonus room over the garage.

We have vertical movement on our new Whitney Blair custom home for The Carfora's in our community of CapeSide, located in Sunset Beach, NC. After days of rain and yes, actually snow, etc., we are now moving along with framing!

You would never know we just had an inch of rain in less than 24 hours here...a testament to the benefits of sand! Welcome to our first blog entry for the latest home just starting construction in CapeSide. This is a custom home for our clients, The Carfora's.

We'll update the blog periodically with interesting information about this particular custom home, including Energy Star and Green Building practices that will be employed. As with all Whitney Blair homes, this home with be Energy Star certified.
